Certification exam vouchers are ideal if you are purchasing one or more certifications for someone other than yourself. Upon completing this purchase, you will receive the voucher code(s) in an email which can then be distributed to the individual(s) applying for certification. Vouchers are valid for 3 months.

After receiving the voucher, the person who is testing for certification will need to submit the IST Application. At the end of the application form, there is a checkout screen where they will enter the voucher code to bypass the payment and submit the form. After submission, CEDIA will review and approve the application, and send scheduling instructions to the test taker (within 2-3 business days).

IST TESTING ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Option 1: Certification + Experience • Candidates must actively hold the Cabling & Infrastructure Technician (CIT) certification or equivalent certification as well as have one year of direct work experience. Experience is verified by a reference such as a supervisor, business owner, HR Manager, or product supplier.

Option 2: Experience Only • Candidates must have at least 3 years of verified direct work experience installing infrastructure cabling and equipment for integrated systems. Experience is verified by a reference such as a supervisor, business owner, HR Manager, or product supplier.
