KNX Basic Course Online - LMS Course

Online Learning

The benefits of automating a building are far reaching, from saving energy, ease of control, and improving the health and well-being of the occupants. The KNX Standard provides a unique platform to integrators to provide a modular and scalable solution that works in all types of buildings.

The Online Theory components of the KNX Basic Certification course, consisting of six (6) self-paced online modules, are ideal for anyone seeking to learn more about the KNX standard and its various applications. The course covers designing the KNX Topology to ensure reliable systems, the history of KNX, installation of the system, and how KNX bus devices operate.

To gain KNX Certified Partner status, you must attend the Hybrid KNX Basic Certification course, which includes an additional two-day, on-site practical module. During these two days, attendees will practice using ETS software to program KNX systems, with lighting and shading examples, and perform diagnostics with ETS. At the end of the hybrid course, attendees will take a theoretical and practical exam to achieve their KNX Certified Partner status.

Note: While the online course can be taken alone as a foundation, it must be completed prior to attending the three-day, in-person training (which can be taken at a later time).

To register for the Hybrid KNX course, go to https://cedia.net/education-events/education/emea/knx-basic-training?courseid=3401 and select the dates and locations that works best for you.
