HDMI® technology is a highly sophisticated transport, with many protocols and capabilities required to make it work. It is designed for easy plug-and-play, so when a consumer connects a source to a display with an HDMI cable it will automatically configure to send the optimal AV signals. An integrator with a deeper understanding of how HDMI works will lead to better system designs with more informed decisions, resulting in more predictable, reliable outcomes, and reduced troubleshooting times. This course focuses on the anatomy of HDMI cables, high-speed AV channels, and multiple ways to troubleshoot HDMI technology issues.
