Since its release in 2019, Wi-Fi 6 has become the ubiquitous wireless networking standard. Fundamentally different to all earlier standards, Wi-Fi 6 supports higher data rates, more robust connections, and simultaneous data reception or transmission between access points and multiple client devices. While Wi-Fi 7 was officially released in January 2024, this paper focuses only on Wi-Fi 6 due to its fast-growing install base and high availability, designed to address some of the more prevalent wireless networking issues and provide high efficiency Wi-Fi.
